We're taking it outdoors, for one night only...

Mizhap Productions Presents

DJ HYPE (UK/Real Playaz)
SIGMA (UK/Life Recordings/Hospital Records/Breakbeat Kaos)

It's been 4 long years, but the undisputed king of the turntables and owner of the highly successful Playaz Records, DJ HYPE, is returning to Perth to show us how it's done. Joining the party we also have SIGMA who really need no introduction to Perth, tearing the roof off on every occasion.

We will be taking over THE OVERFLOW to party under the stars, and experience drum n bass the way it should be, with the one and only FUNKTION1 SOUND SYSTEM, because after all what is drum n bass without BASS?

Return of the awesome twosome!

Mizhap Productions is proud to present a massive 3 deck set by none other than the man himself.

These two need no introduction to Perth, tearing up clubs to sell out crowds on every occasion, these two are about to yet again, blow the roof off Rosemount Hotel.

If you were at heat in 06’ The Deen in 07’ and Villa last year then you know Mampi Swift is the king of double dropping bombs, track after track, along with IC3’s skill of hyping up a crowd, this pair is one show that cannot be missed!

The prolific “Mampi Swift” aka Phil Anim, formally known as Swift. The addition of “Mampi” to his name not being coincidental…the term meaning “big, strong and quick” depicts everything about him from his pure pyhsique to his amazing “double-dropping” djing skills.

One of the scene’s biggest characters: This hugely popular and versatile MC IC3 is equally respected and admired for his countless residencies around the globe at both liquid nights, breaks night and rave nights alike. Best seen alongside his good friend and partner in crime Mampi Swift, the ‘awesome twosome’ guarantee a high energy extravaganza.

Tickets $35+bf from Planet Video, Mills Records, DJ Factory, Moshtix Outlets, www.moshtix.com.au, Heatseeker Outlets and www.heatseeker.com.au

Mizhap Productions Presents

PHAELEH (UK)

(Urban Scrumping, Blackbox, Afterglo, Disfigured Dubz, Wheel & Deal)

Phaeleh – pronounced “Fella”

In 2006, classically trained musician and electronic sound scientist Matt Preston was swept up in the wake of the Dubstep phenomenon. His diverse influences resulted in an equally diverse musical output, ranging from the euphoric heights of Nordic electronica through cinematic breakbeat to the depth charges of Dubstep.

Phaeleh’s unique sound has garnered support from the scene’s leading artists, including Skream, N-Type, Scuba, Distance, Kryptic Minds, Oris Jay, RSD and Jakes to name but a few, as well as radio support on BBC Radio 1, BBC Asian Network, BBC 6 Music and Kiss FM.

This has helped Phaeleh to top the sales charts with releases on Surface Tension, Against the Grain & Urban Scrumping as well as future releases on Skream’s Disfigured Dubz, N-Type’s Wheel & Deal Records and label of the moment Black Box.

On Support:

Rekab

Door Sales: $15

One word... BIG!

Mizhap Productions teams up with Random Concept, one of the longest standing Drum n Bass brands hailing from the UK for the launch of Random Concept Australia.

Random Concept has been responsible for some of the biggest Drum n Bass events across the UK including being hosts to the Drum n Bass tent at Global Gathering, the largest dance music festival in the UK.

It’s been a long time coming, but after nearly 5 years, and last playing NYE at Belvoir Amphitheatre in 2006, Grooverider is hitting our shores again, and there is no doubt in our minds that he is going to smash Villa to pieces.

The long awaited return of Black Sun Empire is also quite an exciting thing, since their last performance at Rise Nightclub in 2007, the anticipation for their return has been overwhelming. With the release of their highly successful “Lights and Wires” LP last year, there is no doubt BSE will impress and live up to our standards.

When you combine these two huge acts, along with the Australian launch of one of the biggest brands in Drum n Bass, you know you are going to be in for one hell of a party!

Tickets go on sale Monday 22nd August for $45+bf from Planet Video, Mills Records, DJ Factory, Moshtix Outlets and www.moshtix.com.au
